The incumbent manages consultant assignments, ensuring high quality and high customer satisfaction throughout the school improvement contracts. The School Improvement Director must have the ability to grasp complex client issues, evaluate appropriate solutions, and utilize internal and external resources for rapid resolutions or decisions. The incumbent must be capable of solving moderately complex technical and business operational challenges. The incumbent must have the ability to assess the needs of customers and seek quick and effective decisions to ensure overall customer satisfaction and efficient delivery of all cross-functional services.<br/><br/>PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES<br/><br/>Responsible for developing detailed project plans, monitoring work streams (curriculum selection, materials management, training, professional development, technical services), ensuring tasks are delivered on time, and adjusting project plans to ensure that objectives are met and are in line with the needs of the account and scope of the client engagement.<br/><br/>Creates implements and directs the creation of new content to support the implementation of the school improvement contracts.  The content is created based on market trends, Center content development goals, client feedback and client needs. Works with Delivery Director to utilize appropriate delivery resources to deliver content to client.<br/><br/>Responsible for managing all project budgets and timelines as well as minimizing exposure and risk on each contract. Analyzes project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates, and utilization as well as determines appropriate revenue recognition, ensures timely and accurate invoicing, and monitors all receivables for each contract.<br/><br/>Provides in an advisory role to Sales Team in procuring school improvement contracts. Contributes to the development of proposals, presents to potential clients, and secures contract.<br/><br/>Serves as the main point of contact for the client during the engagement. Responsibilities include coordinating all client interaction, content delivery, project communication, and meeting all necessary reporting requirements.<br/><br/><b>Requirements:</b><br/>SKILLS/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED<br/><br/>Must have the ability to lead and motivate teams and individuals.
