The HMH Editorial staff conceptualizes, plans, organizes, and executes development of all HMH K–12 educational and Trade products, including textbooks, digital product, supplemental materials, and new HMH nonfiction and fiction Trade titles. Editorial also brings academic expertise—and in many cases classroom teaching experience—to ensure alignment of new programs to existing or emerging state curriculum standards. Editors and Editorial managers oversee a range of development tasks:

• Developing manuscripts with outside authors and writers
• Monitoring standards coverage within and across program components
• Ensuring alignment with current or emerging trends in education
