What you’ll do:  The National Content Specialists serve as content leaders both nationally and within their assigned region.  They work with strategic accounts to help support critical content in preparation for the overall sales effort.  Using this information, they are responsible for the customization and delivery of key customized pre-sales presentations in collaboration with their SSG leadership team and sales.  The National Content Specialist assists with the support of key sales pilots, is aware of Solutions Archtect conversations in order to drive connected sales, and supports the post-sales effort as needed.  Most of all the National Content Specialist serve as subject matter experts to support SSG, Sales and the growth of other team members.  The National Content Specialist will often be assigned (by SSG leadership) key content realated projects that are meaningful to the sales effort either nationally or regionally.

 

Working in SSG,  the National Content Specialist will be expected:

  • To work with Account Executives and CSG Leadership to understand customer needs and transfer this knowledge to pre-sales, sales, and at times post-sales presentations.
  • To assist with presentation development in partnership with product marketing and management.  
  • To deliver customized quality sales presentations utilizing competitive language based on customer need and sales goals.
  • To partner with the Account Executive and engage in connedted solution selling conversations that lead to connected sales.
  • To learn multiple subject area suites of programs as requested in either ELA or STEM.
  • To deliver model rollouts of presentations as they are developed to meet both national and regional need as requested by leadership.
  • To appropriately adjust presentations to the needs and responses of the audience.
  • To handle customer questions and overcomes objections.
  • To deliver Getting Started trainings tailored to customer and sales needs.
  • To utilize knowledge of competitors’ products to enhance product positioning.
  • To communicate information regarding customer needs to the Account Executive and manager in order to capitalize on sales opportunities and position product effectively.
  • To lead key national and national projects as requested by SSG Leadership.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree is a minimum with graduate degree strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience in a Content Specialist role of this nature plus five years of K-12 teaching experience in a subject area relevant to the position.
  • STEM (Math and Science) background  to prepare for the upcoming TX Science campaign
  • Outstanding presentation skills with ability to develop same skills in others.
  • Digital literacy is a requirement.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Collaboration skills.
  • Highly organized and able to transfer strategies into actions that deliver results.
  • Able to use MS Office Suite, Zooms, TEAMS and other virtual tools.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work irregular hours, including weekends, and travel extensively up to 60%– driving and flying
  • Lift and move up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
  • A valid driver's license and clear driving record.
