Job Title: Sr. Pricing Office Analyst

Title Reporting To: VP, Pricing Office

Division / Department: Revenue Operations



Pricing Office Analyst is a key driver in managing Pricing for HMH, Providing Analysis of pricing changes and impacts, review of empowerment and driving the annual pricing update process. Position will be a go-to for Pricing questions and ensuring that the department has the data required to make decisions and answer appropriate questions from stakeholders.



  1. Sets and Drives in Annual Pricing Process
  2. Ensures development and improvement of standard pricing analytic report templates, presentations, methodologies, and processes through advanced analytical thought processes
  3. Analyzes the impact of price changes, recommends adjustments to pricing standards and strategies that will support business objectives and plans without impeding future growth
  4. Running both scheduled and ad hoc reports for both stakeholders, contributors and clients
  5. Author process improvements working towards a Pricing Center of Excellence.
  6. Monitors deliverables to ensure timely completion of projects, Manages Smartsheet Database of Projects





Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or Mathematics Field


Knowledge and skills (general and technical)

  • 2 to 3 years pricing-related experience that may include pricing management, methods and techniques, financial analysis
  • Prior experience working in education or finance industries a plus.
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools, including significant knowledge of, SAP, SFDC (and related apps)
