The Inside Sales Manager - International is accountable for achieving sales and profit objectives for the region through hiring, training, developing and directing employees within the region and serving as facilitator of Inside Sales strategies, campaigns and techniques with Field Sales Leadership.  Accountable to effective integrated sales planning, forecasting and execution.



  • Develops a strategic sales and marketing plan for assigned region based on regional market information, trends countries, needs of the customer and past years regional performance to meet assigned quota.   Collaboration with Field Sales Leadership, Inside Sales Campaign Team International Marketing and all support resources to leverage expertise and coordinate plans for effective resource allocation and streamlined implementation.  Adjust plans as needed.
  • Responsible for meeting assigned regional and team quota.  Partners with Inside Account Executives on pipeline review and management.  Adjusting sales plans as needed.
  • Responsible for quarterly sales forecasting and reporting to International Sales Leadership.
  • Manages the activities of the staff.  Conducts objective setting, midpoint and annual appraisal for all direct reports. Reviews weekly Inside Sales metrics opportunities, pipeline and business plan execution.  Communicates outcomes to International Sales Leadership.
  • Build effective strategies to develop sales growth through channel partners. Manage relationships with key channel partners in each region.
  • Recruiting, training and employee development. Ongoing recruiting to insure well qualified pool of applications. Develop training plans for inside sales team. Coach inside Account Executives to meet performance metrics and sales goals.
  • Manage and stay within assigned budgets.   Approves Account Executive’s expense reports, overtime and per diem budget.
  • Promotes a positive relationship between Field sales and Inside teams. Frequently communicates and collaborates with Field Sales Management, Inside Sales Campaign Teams and Solutions Specialists teams.  Takes the lead with Field Sales team on integrating new demand generation techniques and strategies into sales plans.


  • This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 5 years sales experience with a proven track record in meeting quota. 
  • 3 years management experience preferred.   
  • Educational sales experience and knowledge of International education markets preferred.
  • Proven track record of integrated solution selling and channel management.
  • Proficient in MS Office and Sales Management Software.
