Heinemann is looking for an eMarketing & Communications Specialist who will be responsible for creating, managing, tracking, and optimizing email campaigns for its professional resources and services.  This candidate will be responsible for coding emails in HTML and in plain text, and must be able to execute CSS, hard code, and inline code. The candidate must work closely with a team of Product Managers, have an understanding of list-building best practices, and be able to multi-task and manage multiple schedules.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Support the Marketing and Sales teams with planning and executing ad-hoc campaigns
  • Work with Inbound Marketing Associate on email list builds and ongoing list management which includes unsubscribe and suppression lists
  • Partner with Heinemann’s Director of Marketing Operations to conduct extensive A/B testing of email strategy and evaluate the performance of emails, including conversion rate, subject lines, segmentation performance, and click-through rates and provide actionable recommendations to the marketing team to improve future email performance when needed
  • Partner effectively with cross-functional teams

 

Education and Experience

  • BS in Marketing or relevant work experience preferred
  • Experience with campaign execution including email marketing and campaign analysis
  • HubSpot or other marketing platform experience, preferred
  • Experience with responsive design, preferred

 

Knowledge and Skills

  • Proficient with HTML and CSS coding
  • Familiar with principles of email and its best practices, web page design and maintenance, A/B testing, and contact list management
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to strict deadlines and working in an independent and fast paced environment
  • An understanding of CAN-SPAM policies and GDPR, preferred
  • Familiar with graphic programs and PDF creation and revision (Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat Pro, etc.)
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

 

Physical Requirements

  • Might be in a stationary position for a considerable time (sitting and/or standing).
  • The person in this position needs to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
  • Must be able to collaborate with colleagues via face to face, conference calls, and online meetings.
