What you will do

 

As a key member of the Revenue Operations department, the Lead Salesforce Analyst will play a pivotal role in managing and enhancing HMH’s Salesforce.com Sales Cloud and other tools supporting the Lead to Order process. This position involves participating in strategic enterprise initiatives, collaborating with Revenue Operations colleagues on major projects, and partnering with IT to implement Salesforce Sales Cloud enhancements. The role also supports our Sales Teams and Go-to-Market strategies.

 

Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential, as the Lead Salesforce Analyst will work closely with internal stakeholders across Sales, Services, Marketing, and other departments. Understanding the business needs of these stakeholders is crucial before working within the Agile framework alongside our IT department and Center of Excellence.

 

This critical role within the Pre-Sales Revenue Systems team offers significant growth potential. Ideal candidates are quick learners with keen attention to detail, strong focus, and the ability to adapt swiftly to change while managing complex and demanding requests.

 

What you will need

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud as an Administrator, Business Analyst, or Support Specialist.
  • Proficient understanding of the Salesforce Platform, Agile Methodologies, and Project Management Applications.
  • Proficiency in creating user stories based on business requirements and collaborating with IT for sprint planning and deployment. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders in Sales, Services, and Marketing to enhance and maintain HMH’s revenue systems, including Salesforce.com and various other applications supporting these business functions.
  • Leadership in Salesforce-related projects from inception to completion, including requirement gathering, solution design, testing, and deployment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with internal stakeholders, such as Account Executives and other sales, services, and marketing personnel.

 

Preferred but not necessary:

 

  • Salesforce Certifications
  • Experience implementing and/or supporting a CPQ solution.
  • Led transformational Salesforce-related projects from inception to completion.
  • Experience in tools such as: Jira, WalkMe, Smartsheet, Conquer.

 

Salary range: 85k -105k annually.
