What You’ll Do

 

HMH’s Content Solutions Team is accelerating the integration of AI and automation across content development to improve speed, quality, consistency, and cost efficiency. The AI Delivery Lead coordinates and manages the adoption, utilization, and operational integration of AI/automation capabilities across NWEA’s products, state programs, and formative solutions. This role leads the organization and governance of AI initiatives, coordinates pilots, evaluates new capabilities, and develops SOPs/ guidelines. Additionally, this role supports the communication, training, and adoption of these initiatives across the division. The AI Delivery Lead also aligns AI/automation plans with capacity, sequencing, and agile practices to ensure predictable delivery and measurable impact.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Maintain an AI & Automation utilization portfolio including initiatives, status, owners, dependencies, risks, and outcomes.
  • Partner with Product and Operations Leads to prioritize AI utilization opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities to extend or reuse AI/automation capabilities across products and/or programs.
  • Coordinate AI/automation utilization design by collaborating with workflow owners to integrate AI capabilities into existing processes.
  • Coordinate and run structured pilots and evaluations; capture reusable templates and components.
  • Coordinate and facilitate training sessions, and arrange office hours as necessary to support the team in learning how to effectively utilize new tools.
  • Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and usage guidelines including prompts, validation steps, and exception handling.
  • Partner with HMH AI governance on compliance, privacy, risk mitigation, and IP considerations.
  • Align AI utilization plans with estimates, dependencies, and capacity planning in coordination with delivery leads.
  • Support planning to sequence AI/automation work and to surface risks and blockers.
  • Publish regular updates summarizing learnings, wins, risks, and insights; maintain a central knowledge base.
  • Ensure adherence to AI governance and usage policies across Content Solutions.
  • Define and track Key Performance Indicators for AI utilization including quality, cycle time, throughput, cost-per-item/passage/test, and adoption.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and executive-ready scorecards; use data to drive continuous improvement.

 

 

What You’ll Need

 

 

  • 2–4+ years in content operations, project coordination, business analysis, or assessment production.
  • Experience in Ed Tech.
  • Familiarity with or experience in Assessment (or Content) Development desired.
  • Experience supporting process improvements, technology rollouts, or AI-assisted tools.
  • Strong organizational skills with proficiency in Smartsheet, SharePoint, and Excel.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted tools and prompting basics, or willingness to learn quickly.
  • Clear writing and communication skills, as well as the ability to produce SOPs and documentation.

Salary range: $82k - $90k
