In this role, you are responsible for the agile delivery for your team. You facilitate and run scrum ceremonies. With support you resolve blockers, and keep the team on track. You work closely with other to develop and manage the 90-day delivery plan collaborating closely with other teams on dependencies and ensuring alignment to the overall business goal.
You are transparent, always, using metrics and project updates to keep stakeholders and leadership informed.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and coaching to the team in agile practices by facilitating all scrum ceremonies for one product development scrum teams.
- With support, manage all deliverables and dependencies for your agile product development scrum team.
- Keep 90-day delivery plans up to date, transparent and stakeholders informed.
- Mentor new and existing team members on our agile processes, continuous improvement and how the team works best.
- Ensure an effective kick-off for the team of new features, work, or new team setup.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure the team understands the product and business strategy to inform the team’s mission and contributes to good decision making.
- Collaborate with PO on backlog health to ensure the team are working from a prioritized backlog.
- Breakdown work from epics to stories (story mapping), write stories with agile team.
- Collaborate with all TSG groups where dependencies arise such as UX Design, UXR, Dev Ops and others.
- Manage dependencies for your team and ensure they are known and addressed.
- Represent the team at Scrum of Scrums.
- Own, track and manage agile metrics for your team, use them for Sprint Planning, to inform process improvements and for reporting purposes.
- Own accurate and up to date project status for your team and report in an appropriate manner in line with TSG processes.
- Keep your project management tool (Jira) accurate and up to date.
Experience
- Proven experience leading high-performing and innovative Agile teams
- 3 to 6 years’ experience working with product development teams in software development
- Hands-on experience with SQL
- Demonstrated success and experience leading teams with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Knowledge of education technology (K-12) industry technology trends, user experience (educators, students, and administrators), and classroom need

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in education, business, or technical discipline preferred
- Agile Scrum Master Certification preferred
