Quality Engineering at HMH

Here in HMH, Quality Engineering is a core function within all of our autonomous Agile teams. We have a highly collaborative, continuous delivery culture. All teammates contribute to the quality of the product and take responsibility for the build pipeline to production (DevOps) and you will too.

We are a technology-forward company. For you this means, working on exciting modern automation tooling (CodeceptJS with Playwright, RestAssured among others) and automation processes, as well as acceptance testing (UI/API), performance, monitoring, and metrics, etc.
 

Skills & Experience:

• 4+ years of experience in Salesforce testing, including functional and , automation testing.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture, APIs, and integration testing.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright or  Copado
• Proficiency in SQL queries.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, JIRA, and test management tools like BrowserStack
• Good  communication and interpersonal  skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams. 
• Experience using common automation testing tools like Playwright, Selenium WD, Cypress
• Experience in API testing tools like Postman, RestAssured or similar
• Good programming/ coding experience with languages like JavaScript, Java, Python or similar
• Knowledge of Testing Frameworks and Test Design Patterns like BDD, Page Objects etc.
• Experience with source control tools like: Github,  bitbucket etc.
• Good understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery using Jenkins
• Experience working with Agile methodology could be scrum, Kanban or a combination of both
• Strong communication and Inter-personal skills

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub, Bitbucket, ADOS).
• Knowledge of cloud testing strategies and No-code automaton testing tools.
• Prior experience in working in test teams in Salesforce transformation projects

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science OR equivalent work experience.
