ASSOCIATE CONTENT DELIVERY LEAD – Development, Delivery and Planning CORE Solutions HMH

 

Content Development, Delivery and Planning at HMH is focused on building fantastic educational content and software to meet the challenges facing teachers and learners. We design and build print & digital content, applications and services used by millions. We are creating teams full of innovative, eager content and software professionals to build the products that will help to transform our industry.

 

We are staffing new, small self-contained teams who love solving problems, building high quality products and services in an agile environment of continuous delivery and customer feedback.

 

As an Associate Content Delivery Lead, you’ll support teams in achieving their goals, keeping projects focused, team outputs healthy, and stakeholders informed. Your experience in service to the team, humble confidence and social grace will help you foster teams as you partner with fellow team members to foster an open, transparent development environment at HMH.

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business or relevant technical field, is required
  • 2+ years experience in interactive project management, with Publishing industry technology products preferred
  • 1 year of experience in an Agile/Scrum environment, educational technology a plus
  • 1 year of experience using scrum planning tools.  Experience with JIRA a plus
  • Familiar with a variety of publishing and technology industry concepts, practices and procedures
  • Strong verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate, support and understand different project teams
  • Strong attention to detail and focus on task completion is critical

 

Physical Requirements

  • Might be in a stationary position for a considerable time (sitting and/or standing).
  • The person in this position needs to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
  • Must be able to collaborate with colleagues via face to face, conference calls, and online meetings.

 

While this position is remote, the ideal candidate must be within commuting distance to an HMH United States office location.
