The Opportunity

  

We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager who is passionate about the world of software quality and who has a deep understanding of what drives quality in technology solutions.

  

This team player understands how to solve complex problems through collaboration and innovation. He/she is comfortable with change and can successfully lead teams to adapt and respond to evolving needs of a fast paced software development environment. He/she thrives on improving and optimizing engineering efficiency. 

  

Key Responsibilities:

  

  • Collaborate with QA Test Engineers, Engineering Managers, QA Managers, Product Managers, Project Managers and Scrum Masters in order to deliver compelling, high quality solutions via agile iterative sprint commitments.

  

  • Engage with Quality Assurance Engineers to understand HOW they test, and provide guidance, mentoring, and training on how to be a more effective and efficient.

  

  • Introduce and implement and manage tools and process to better support execution

  

  • Manage ongoing continuous improvement projects.

  

  • Support the business during internal and external audits, including responding to any findings.

  

  • Help define, implement, and maintain quality assurance methodologies and processes that all stakeholders can rally behind.

  

  • Define, implement, and maintain automation strategies that enable the team to perform more thorough regression testing of existing functionality, earlier in the release cycle.

  

  • Interface with the Performance & Scalability team to ensure that performance and scalability is an integral component of all test strategies and project plans.

  

  • Gather and communicate relevant quality assurance metrics and information, and provide status reports on sprint and release testing efforts.

  

  • Present metrics to identify future adjustments that can be implemented to increase efficiency or reduce cost of quality.

  
Requirements :  

Qualifications:

o   Expert understanding of industry standard quality assurance and testing methodologies.

o   Expert understanding of software development methodologies, especially Agile.

o   Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

o   Experience designing and implementing comprehensive test automation

o   Continuous Integration testing experience

o   Experience managing QA of SAP, salesforce.com, ecommerce projects

o   Minimum of 4 years of experience working as a Software Quality Assurance Manager

o   Demonstrate passion for the continuous improvement of processes and methodologies used in the development of software solutions.

o   Demonstrated experience building teams and managing multiple projects in parallel.

o   Experience with implementation of automation and performance testing programs.

o   Experience with remote and offshore test teams across multiple time zones.

o   Working knowledge of industry leading Quality Assurance tools for Test Case Management (TCM) and Test Automation.

o   Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

o   Exceptional organizational, time management and project management skills.

o   Minimum of 4 years of prior experience as a Quality Assurance Test Engineer

Expertise with the following tools:
Atlassian product ecosystem (Jira, Bamboo, Stash/Bitbucket, Structure, Fisheye)
Spirateam
Worksoft
Selenium

 

Preferred Qualifications:

o   BS Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent

o   Experience with Agile software development

o   Experience with mobile application development  

o   Experience with web technology and cloud service QA requirements and process

 

 

Physical Requirements:
• Might be in a stationary position for a considerable time (sitting and/or standing).
• The person in this position needs to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
• Must be able to collaborate with colleagues via face to face, conference calls, and online meetings.
