If this is you, come join the team of dynamic marketers at HMH!   We’re hiring a Senior Product Marketing Manager, Platform and Assessment.


This role is responsible for contributing to and executing against marketing plans that speak to customers’ needs, tell the HMH story, and drive revenue.  You will work closely with Product Management, Demand Generation, Customer Success, Learning Architecture, and Creative to bring customer-focused narratives to life and make it easy for educators to choose HMH.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong K-12 learning platform and/or assessment marketing background.  

As a member of the Marketing department, the Senior Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for the following primary duties:

  • Collaborate with peers and stakeholders to create and execute marketing plans that reflect an understanding of the customer journey, from awareness to review to purchase.
  • Develop compelling customer-focused messaging that sparks interest and differentiates HMH solutions.
  • Partner with peers to develop compelling promotional content such as videos, product demos, and interactive brochures.
  • Use data and customer feedback to measure tactical efficacy.
  • Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME).
  • Develop engaging and effective sales enablement resources to ensure HMH sales executives can successfully position, market, and demonstrate HMH solutions. 
  • Analyze competitors’ marketing to deliver winning strategies.


What you’ll need:

  • Marketing experience: Minimum of 3 years marketing experience
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Strong working knowledge of K-12 learning platforms and/or assessments.
  • Writing Skills: Exemplary written and oral communication skills
  • Technology: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Growth Mindset: Driven to exceed goals, anticipate needs of the customer and the market, and take ownership of understanding shifts in the marketplace  
  • Leadership skills: Ability to lead, project manage, and achieve goals in a matrixed environment
  • Education: BA/BS


Preferred but not necessary: skills/education/experience/working knowledge

  • Math teaching experience
  • K-12 edtech marketing experience
  • Proficiency with video editing software, Photoshop, and Canva

  • Travel required approximately 3 times per year, possibly more during intensive periods of training, planning meetings, or campaigns. 



Benefits and Salary Range (US Only - Included for Remote Roles)

Salary Range - $72,000 - $90,000
