What you’ll do:

Working in Digital Solutions and Support, the Project Manager will be responsible for the following primary duties:

  • Establish and maintain best practices for project management from concept to delivery, along with ongoing sustainability and metrics
  • Define and support project management requirements, project schedules, and work breakdown structures based on the department strategy
  • Propose and follow through on new and innovative ways to execute on program strategy
  • Lead the development of assigned projects, manage interdependencies between projects that support programs and build organization skills within the department to ensure it is operating effectively
  • Oversee the development of schedules, resource allocation and budgets to ensure the department is operating at the speed of business and is set up for outcome success
  • Interact cross-functionally and maintain relationships with stakeholders through regular communications to ensure expectations are set clearly and subsequent deliverables meet stated expectations
  • Manage change and continue to achieve needed outcomes and results to deliver on time and on budget
  • Provide project support to other project managers or project teams in need of assistance with project deliverables
  • Organize project meetings with relevant personnel to follow-up on the status of a project portfolio
  • Collaborate with the Director and various reporting groups to track and report on metrics, ensuring programs are on track to achieve organizational strategic results and/or to make necessary modifications needed to achieve those results

What you’ll need:

  • Minimum 3 years of Project Management, Process Improvement, or subject matter expertise in Technical Support functions and project management training.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, in Business, Computer Science, or related technical degree. Equivalent experience and/or technical certificates may be substituted.
  • Demonstrated success implementing project management or process improvement processes
  • Proven leadership skills with a collaborative management style that will facilitate interaction with colleagues, customers, and corporate partners
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Effective presentation and meeting skills

 

Preferred but not necessary: skills/education/experience/working knowledge

  • PMP certification
  • Education technology systems experience

Salary and Benefits

Salary Range - $62,500 to $70,000 plus variable incentive plan.  Our salary ranges are based on national averages.  We have wide ranges so we can be flexible and determine compensation based on a number of factors including the candidate’s skills, experience, education, and location.
