What you’ll do:

Purpose of the Role: The Segment Director supports multiple regions in achieving revenue targets for intervention solutions – including READ 180 & System 44 on SAM, Read 180 on Ed, MATH 180 on SAM, Math 180 on ED, English 3D on SAM & Ed, and English 3D + Writable – and professional learning services for HMH solutions. 

Job Responsibilities:  Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Segment Director for Intervention Solutions & Services:

  • Partner and collaborate with the regional leadership teams (i.e. Regional Vice Presidents, Area Sales Directors, etc.) in multiple regions to support/initiate regional strategies, key opportunities; support Area Sales Directors and Account Executives to achieve 100% of the intervention revenue goal
  • Proactively work with regional leadership teams to analyze pipeline and recommend strategies to build pipeline and grow revenue
  • Collaborate with Revenue Enablement to develop and deliver enablement sessions for the sales team.   
  • Act as liaison between Field Sales and Product Management/Product Marketing; as the Subject Matter Expert, provide feedback on planning, action items from Field Sales, product development, marketing, etc.
  • Model questioning strategies and positioning for intervention programs and services
  • Present and/or demo the intervention solutions and professional learning services (i.e. HMH Coaching Studio, etc.)
  • Assist and/or initiate large account analysis/strategy
  • Attend/participate in high-level customer meetings, State Departments of Education, and state organizations, etc.
  • Act as a resource to regional sales leadership for implementation of recommended strategies.  If strategies have campaign alignment, collaborate with the Sales Strategist and/or Field Marketing to execute.

Corporate Responsibilities:

  • Participate in ad-hoc focus groups to provide product development/marketing input
  • Present at regional and national sales meetings
  • Participate and assist at national sales events such as Summits and Conventions
  • Communicate with regional and national team members in a timely manner

What you’ll need:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience
  • Degree required:  Bachelor’s Degree (4-year degree)
  • Experience in:  Education Industry, Sales and/or Services
  • Ability to:  Collaborate, Influence, Engage and Empower 

 

Preferred but not necessary:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education
  • Experience working with School Districts/Schools
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Tools (i.e. Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Proficient with Salesforce
