What you’ll do: 
The Senior Sales Ops Analyst will assist in executive leadership reporting and general support of NWEA CEO as well as VP Sales. The Senior Sales Ops Analyst will also assist in the quarterly Incentive Compensation payouts for sales incentive-eligible employees.  This role will work with finance, sales, operations, executive leadership, BI, and HR.


Duties/Responsibilities:
•    Run weekly reports via Salesforce to provide insights to executive leadership team (ELT)
•    Run regular analysis on quota attainment, recurring revenue, budget to actual attainment, and sales payout.
•    Support all national and international divisions on sales reports and forecasting.
•    Update and manage Salesforce KPI dashboards for senior leadership.
•    Provide trending analysis quarter over quarter and year over year.
•    Innovate and implement new methods to streamline and scale current processes to integrate NWEA into HMH
•    Support comp plan design with data driven decision making.
•    Assist with set up of all files necessary for Quarterly Incentive Comp payouts.
•    Reconcile and validate accuracy of commissionable sales and calculated incentives.
•    Liaise with International, Heinemann, NWEA and other Manual group contacts to obtain sales and other information necessary to complete payout process.
•    Calculate deferred sales amounts and prepare and submit necessary adjustments or accruals.
•    Assist with creating and distributing reports to eligible participants with regards to report and payout timing
•    Assist accounting with preparing Domestic, Heinemann, NWEA and other LOB monthly commission accruals.
•    Perform SDM monthly reconciliations.
•    Coordinate with Accounting to submit accruals and perform reconciliations.  Obtain necessary approvals for internal control and audit purposes.
•    Provide support in developing and tracking KPIs to help sales management coach their account executives and implement sales strategies.

 

What you’ll need: 
•    Salesforce.com experience (querying reports and general understanding of structure –admin level not required.
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•    PowerBI experience in creating reports from a database.
•    Flexibility to work as position demands with a high degree of reliability.
•    Experience supporting a sales compensation process.
•    Bachelor’s degree with analytical background.
•    Strong process orientation, numerical aptitude, and attention to detail.
•    Creative problem-solving skills.
•    Able to work independently and take initiative.
•    Effective organizational and time management skills to support and prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.
•    Capable to quickly adapt to new processes or changes.
•    Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
•    Robust Excel skills.
 

Salary Range - $73K - $83K
