Senior Research Strategist, Integrated Platform Research

Join us as a Senior Research Strategist for Integrated Platform Research. You will lead integrated platform-level research that turns user insight into strategic priorities and measurable business outcomes. Design and deliver strategic investigations that show where coherence across curriculum, assessment, and professional learning creates the biggest impact.

Work across product, design, go-to-market, and operations teams to translate evidence into bold prioritisation, clear roadmaps, and measurable outcomes. This role is central to delivering an integrated, connected platform experience that educators recognise as meaningfully better.

What you’ll do:

· Set the research strategy: Partner with product, design, go-to-market, and leadership to define research priorities that drive integrated platform coherence.

· Design strategic initiatives: Create multi-method, multi-product research programs that address systems level problems and deliver evidence for prioritisation across the integrated platform.

· Own end-to-end strategic research delivery: Lead large, cross-product studies including stakeholder alignment, governance of research evidence, synthesis at scale, and clear recommendations tied to business and adoption metrics.

· Advocate for platform coherence: Influence product strategy by translating user insight into design principles and decision frameworks that ensure connected, integrated platform experiences across the ecosystem.

· Collaborate across functions: Work with product, design, engineering, go-to-market, and operations teams to embed research into prioritisation, roadmaps, and go-to-market plans that scale across the integrated platform.

· Advance research methods: Create novel mixed methods, systems mapping, and impact-evaluation approaches to surface friction across products and workflows and measure impact at integrated platform level.

· Synthesize for leadership: Produce executive-level, compelling syntheses that quantify opportunity, risk, and expected impact; present clear tradeoffs and recommended next steps that inform platform-level investment decisions.

· Drive prioritisation and measurement: Partner with PMs and go-to-market and business leads to ensure insights inform prioritisation, success metrics, and post-launch evaluation across the integrated platform.

· Build research capability: Coach and build research literacy across product, design, go-to-market, and operations teams; create playbooks and governance to scale strategic research practice across the integrated platform.

· Contribute to organisational strategy: Represent research in cross-functional planning, shape product and platform strategy forums, and share thought leadership externally as appropriate.

What you’ll need:

· 5+ years leading research that influenced product and platform strategy, ideally with experience in cross-product or integrated platform contexts.

· Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience. Demonstrated ability to apply theory to strategic business problems.

· Deep experience with mixed methods, systems mapping, causal inference or impact evaluation, and translating findings into prioritisation and ROI estimates for integrated platforms.

· Proven experience influencing senior stakeholders and translating research into prioritised, measurable initiatives that shift platform priorities and investment.

· Experience partnering with Product Management, Design, Engineering, Go-to-Market, and Operations at senior levels.

· Strong systems thinking, decisiveness under ambiguity, and experience leading multi-phase programs across teams in support of integrated platform outcomes.

· Comfort with product and technical constraints, and an ability to translate user needs into actionable product and platform tradeoffs.

· Exceptional narrative and synthesis skills; proven track record of presenting clear, evidence-based recommendations that shape product and go-to-market decisions for the US education market.

· Deep understanding of research methods plus experience connecting research findings to business KPIs, adoption, retention, and revenue outcomes for integrated platforms.
