Warehouse IV Lead Position Summary


Responsible for working independently from both written and verbal instructions. Serves as the primary contact on the 2nd shift within the department for both internal and external customers. Maintains files, prepares documentations and monitors daily workflow through the department. Ensures that all department transactions are complete, current and accurate.  Employees may be designated to assist supervisors in providing leadership and direction for one or more departments to facilitate the completion of the daily workload to the distribution operations.       

Work schedule will be 2nd Shift 3:00pm-11:30pm.


  • Assists in the daily administration and operation of the warehouse.
    • Performs all core warehouse duties including some specialized, more complex tasks for their respective department.
    • Oversees that materials are unloaded, checked in and received on logpro .  Monitors movement of product to P& D stations.  Under minimal supervision, relies on experience and exercises judgment to determine best approach to achieve desired outcomes
    • Directs departmental personnel.  Communicates several times per day with supervisor/manager and other team leaders.  Makes recommendations to management for improvements as required.                        
  • Emphasizes safe work practices with the team on a daily basis.  Maintains company standards regarding safety and security
    • Maintains a clean, neat and orderly work area.  Assists in maintaining the security of the warehouse.
    • Participates in all required safety training(s) and constantly adheres to all rules and regulations given during courses.  Has in-depth knowledge of mechanized and motorized equipment used in area. 
    • Complies with all warehouse Safety Rules, OSHA regulations and MSDS standards.
    • May facilitate safety training and accident preparedness.                                    
  • Provides training of departmental processes to employees.                                           
  • Learning
    • Must have the ability to learn the necessary skills, knowledge, abilities and behaviors for the purposes of cross training and job assignments in all departments.                                       
  • Other duties as assigned                                                                                              


  • Must be capable of sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time. 
  • Must be able to lift/push/carry up to 50 lbs. frequently. 
  • Must be able to work in extreme temperatures (hot and cold).
  • Must be able to work from variable heights while wearing a safety harness.
