We are seeking a Data Engineer to join our Data Science, Reporting & Analytics organization. This role is responsible for designing, building, and operating scalable data pipelines and data platforms that enable  analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision-making across the enterprise. The ideal candidate brings strong technical fundamentals, a collaborative mindset, and a focus on data quality, reliability, and performance in complex enterprise environments, with hands-on experience in Master Data Management (MDM). 

 

Key Responsibilities 

 

Data Pipeline Development 
• Design, build, and maintain reliable ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake, Informatica (including MDM), SSIS, and cloud-native services on AWS and/or Azure.

• Ensure pipelines are scalable, resilient, and optimized for performance and cost. 

 

Data Integration, MDM & Modeling 
• Integrate data from multiple transactional systems into curated, analytics-ready data models.

• Support and enhance Informatica MDM solutions, including entity resolution, survivorship rules, hierarchies, and reference data. 
• Apply data modeling best practices to support reporting, dashboards, and downstream analytical use cases. 

 

Platform Monitoring & Optimization.
• Monitor pipeline execution, data volumes, and latency; proactively identify and resolve performance 
issues. 
• Recommend and implement improvements to data architecture, orchestration, and event-driven pipelines. 

 

Documentation & Operational Support 
• Maintain clear and accurate technical documentation for pipelines, data models, and MDM 
configurations. 
• Provide operational support for data platforms, including incident troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.

 

Skills & Qualifications 
• 3–5 years of experience in data engineering or a related role.

• 2–3 years of hands-on experience with Informatica MDM, including data modeling, match/merge rules, and survivorship configurations. 
• Strong proficiency in SQL with experience in Snowflake, SQL Server, and/or Postgres. 
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure) 
• Solid understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and performance tuning concepts.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and diagnostic reporting for data pipelines and MDM jobs.
• Strong problem-solving skills with clear written and verbal communication abilities. 

 

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with transactional source systems and complex data domains (e.g., customer, user, organization, product). 
• Exposure to analytics, BI, or machine learning workflows that consume curated or MDM-driven datasets. 

• Prior experience in ed-tech or large-scale enterprise data environments is a plus.
